Welcome back to the channel in today’s ASMR prime video. I’ve been called out to a customers house to replace their electric shower.. first thing first is to isolate the water and isolate. The electrics. Electrics is normally on the mains consumer unit and the cold water. I turned off the main stop tap feeding the house.
But the supply feeds turned off I opened up some taps and started to de-wire and disconnect the plumbing connection onto the shower. Once disconnected, we can remove it from the wall and start by locating the new shower up to the existing feed and electric cable. The cable was really short so the only position I could have the shower is just above the cable where it comes out of the wall as if I dropped it down any lower to height the copper pipework the cable would be too short.
A quick mark of holes and drilled the tiles enables me to screw it onto the wall and start re-piping the electric shower. The shower that I’m fitting is from a company called Mira, the shower allows me to have connections at overside and because the connections are on the left I have to re-pipe it through the channel and up onto the spigot left on the shower.
The copper feed was extended an elbow sideways where I bent a piece of 15 mm copper with my Monument pipe benders up to a compression elbow onto the plastic spigot provided. The compression fitting has copper olives and I’ve put a bit of thread paste over the top to ensure a leak free joint. With water connection done I just reattach the electric cable to the shower and tested both feeds before putting the case on.

When installing an electric shower, make sure you follow commissioning processes which is normally turning in the shower on cold and then turning it up to hot. I hope you like today’s prime video please give it a like drop a comment down below subscribe if you and I’ll see you on the next one
