Self Study in UPSC Preparation | Shabbir A Bashir | Edukemy
Preparing for the UPSC exam requires dedication, hard work, and consistent effort. Self-study is a crucial part of this process and can help you build a strong foundation for the exam.
Set a realistic schedule for your preparation that includes time for revision, practice, and rest. Stick to this plan and make adjustments as necessary.
Know the UPSC syllabus thoroughly and create a study plan that covers all the topics in the syllabus.
Use standard textbooks, reference books, and other reliable sources for your preparation. Avoid relying solely on online resources.
Take notes on important topics, current affairs, and issues related to the exam. This will help you revise the material more effectively.
Take regular mock tests to assess your progress and identify areas that need improvement. This will help you get familiar with the exam pattern and build your confidence.
Analyze your mistakes in mock tests and identify the areas that need improvement. This will help you improve your performance in subsequent tests.
Remember that self-study is just one aspect of UPSC preparation. It's also important to stay updated on current affairs, practice answer writing, and seek guidance from experts. Good luck!
The video is important for all aspirants preparing for UPSC CSE and will be useful both for Prelims and Mains.
