PS: I Wanted to add That, with the current content, We can't be absolutely sure that New content will be good for her or abuse her weaknesses. Unfrozenable Foes, Bosses in Abyss, Evading or Teleporting monsters.
She was the best for a lot of time but not really Right now. she is more a good balanced unit.
PS2: Thoma and Xinyan are great shield for melt Ganyu and can be pretty usefull to keep the pyro Status on foes, the downside of thoses character is that they're pretty limited in teamp comps and are pretty invasive in reaction. Yanfei C4 is just great in a lot of comp as a pyro shield and can also Heal with amber Catalyst.
If Thoma or Xinyan are already invested in, you can go for them in the Shield spot of Melt Ganyu.
