One of Star Citizen's Best Features is Getting Some Major Updates This Year
Few Star Citizen features have landed as successfully as tractor beams, but they weren't immediately so useful. Soon we may have another reckoning with tractor beams, as they gain a ton more importance this year. Let me explain how the best* feature is getting better, and what you can expect from tractor beams in Star Citizen 2023.
***Note: When I say this is Star Citizen's best feature, I simply mean it is the most consistently performing feature that makes a big difference to the game and affects a lot of players. The more impressive features like server meshing, PES, damage maps, and so on have their own place, but I don't think another feature implementation has matched tractor beams in their overall reach across the game.
