Dark Odyssey is honestly probably my new favorite demon. Which is honestly kind of surprising because of my phobia of long levels. I expected to hate this level because of all the choke points and duals and so on and so forth. But this level would always keep me engaged and I would rarely get frustrated. There were a few instances where I felt like raging, but that always happens in extreme demons (at least for me).
Usually in long levels you get so devastated when you die because you have to go all the way back to the beginning, but Jonathan did a good job with making sure that wasn’t the case. This is my second XXXXL level, my first being Future Funk, which was a new hardest at the time. I kind of had a similar experience during my time with Future Funk, that being a great one, which truly proves that Jonathan is a master creator, and in my opinion, the best creator of XL demons.
