Tackling thorns and brambles with a mulching blade and brush cutter. In this video, I want to tackle the brambles and thorns in the woods. To remove the thorns, I'll first shred or mulch them and then remove the roots. Root removal will be covered in the next video. This video focuses on the mulching blade for the brush cutter. It makes removing weeds effortless. Standard brush cutter blades or 3-tooth blades aren't particularly well-suited for removing brambles. Mulching blades are ideal for this. My brush cutter has 3 horsepower and handles the mulching blade very well. I specifically chose a 4mm thick mulching blade to give it more momentum and prevent it from stalling too easily. This combination of the Fuxtec brush cutter/multitool and the mulching blade works incredibly well. I mulched almost 12 square meters in no time. A thicket has been transformed into a clean, even surface.
