3D printed hair for a bald friend
This guy tried to 3D print hair for his bald friend, but at first the result looked strange and unrealistic. This raised a question: can a 3D printer really reproduce something as fine as hair? To test this, they first printed small, grass-like fibers. The result was already promising. Next, they tried a lion's mane, then human hair. After adjustments and styling, the fibers became much more natural, to the point of looking realistic from a distance.
