Luke Moloney: The lazy person's Create External Table Statement
As a Lazy person, I don't like writing CREATE EXTERNAL TABLE statements by hand especially if I am working with Parquet.
So let me take you through a quick tool I designed to solve this issue. During this quick session I will talk about how the stored procedure leverages Synapse SQL Serverless to generate the CREATE EXTERNAL TABLE statement and some of the frustrations when working with Synapse SQL Serverless.
