'Deep Impact' - screener bootleg. VHS via VideoCD. First few mins.
A "screener" is an advance copy given to critics, video stores, etc.
In this case a bootleg was made from the screener[almost certainly vhs] - possibly from a tape to tape copy, then digitized & released on VideoCD.
The copy I found had been copied from that VideoCD to VHS. So a pretty tortuous route, with resulting terrible quality.
