Wedding Preview by Drone at Hilton Clearwater Beach
Although it was alittle windy and cloudy on this day, was almost an ideal day for flying a drone on Clearwater Beach. Because of the cold weather, they beach was pretty empty so allowed us to shoot areas that would normally be crowded with people. This is our 2nd week using the Mavic 2 Pro and found it really handled the winds pretty good. We are still getting used to the more sensitive controls as compared to the Phantom 4 Pro & Inspire, so not as smooth as I would like to be. It probably would have helped to fly in "tripod mode". I also love the quieter Mavic 2 Pro, although still too noisy to fly during ceremony, but when I do fly it for first kiss with people clapping, it is not as noticeable. The noise too of turning it on is much, much quieter, as I often have to do doing the ceremony to be ready for the first kiss. I found I was able to turn it on, and start the props, and no one could here, that is until I take off. I find that the picture quality of the Mavic 2 Pro is every bit as good as the Phantom 4 Pro. I used Neutral Density Filters for some of the opening shots when there was alittle sun.
