SP404 mk2 24.3 - Tips on Using TRS cables to Connect Midi Type A (NOT B) to Midi Type A (NOT B)
Big ups to 8bitBarry1 for pointing out that I mixed up the BMIDI-5-35 lead that Roland sells, and apparently thinking it was a MIDI Type B connection. 8bitBarry1 pointed out that https://minimidi.world shows the TRS cable for the SP404 mk2 is in fact Type A, not B... and I looked up the Force, which is also Type A...
Egg on my face, but thanks everybody out there for paying attention and giving corrections. Not trying spread misinformation.
Just a shorter video on how to use a TRS cable to connect two Midi Type A devices together. It works super nicely :D
