Quick Screen Cast Options 2020
Quick options for Screen casting videos to your students virtually or when trying to flip your classroom, using a Chromebook or other devices.
Here are the TWO chrome extensions you will need to make Screencast-o-matic work for you on a CHROMEBOOK
1) Screencast-o-matic Launcher App

After these installs, you will be able to click "Launch Recorder" from the following website and record to your heart's content!

FOR WINDOWS (your teacher pc or your own mac/pc), you will need to install the Windows Launcher. Then, open it up from the same screen recorder web page, or, if it works right (mine was finicky this morning & I had to restart for videos to play again), you should be able to launch from the desktop app it created.
The PC version feels a little fancier, I think, but I haven't really used it yet. Just remember to change the "Size" to Fullscreen. (NOTE: If you want the screen recorder to capture audio from the computer, you'll have to pay for the premium version. It's cheap, though!)
