MacBook has microphone icon with wake up or sleep below it. It's accessibility Voice Control setting
Recently,.. I think my kid was pressing some buttons and enabled accessibility microphone on my macbook pro from 2013.
Long story short.. I wanted to remove this microphone icon that says either:
wake up
sleep
To disable this .. you need to go into:
Settings
Accessibility
Voice Control - disable this.
That's it.
