M5 Pro MacBook Pro: Blender, Resolve & 4K Video Benchmarks
Can the M5 Pro handle a professional creative workload? Today we are pushing the $2,199 Space Black M5 Pro (15-core CPU, 16-core GPU, 24GB RAM) to its absolute limit. We’re moving past the "budget" testing of the MacBook Neo and diving into serious stress tests requested by you, the community.
In this video:
Blender 5.0 Stress Test: Cycles vs. Eevee rendering (M5 Pro vs. RTX 4080 Legion 7i).
4K Video Editing: DaVinci Resolve Studio with a 9-stream 4K Multicam timeline (No proxies!).
World of Warcraft (WoW): Can we hit a locked 120 FPS at native Retina resolution?
AAA Gaming: Skyrim (Remastered with shaders), Tomb Raider (Native Ultra), and the RDR2 crash report.
I’m comparing this directly to my M1 Max and the RTX 4080 Legion 7i to see if Apple’s Fusion Architecture actually beats a dedicated desktop-class GPU in 3D rendering.
