The Sun is a massive ball of gas, primarily composed of hydrogen and helium. This energy is emitted from the Sun as light and heat. Although the Sun appears fiery from our perspective on Earth, it is actually a plasma ball that emits radiation across a wide range of wavelengths, including visible light.
