This is the welcome video to the Professional Development course https://www.openlearning.com/courses/... which will be running starting Monday April 27. This course is part of the Mathematics in The Modern World suite of courses offered by the School of Mathematics and Statistics, UNSW.
It is designed to give high school maths and science teachers some enriched opportunities of deepening their mathematical understanding and connecting to modern application of mathematics--that they can bring to their classrooms.
The course will be run over four weeks, and is presented by the UNSW VCATE award winner Dr. Daniel Mansfield of the School of Mathematics and Statistics. If you are a high school maths teachers looking for PD with a modern, content oriented slant, please join us!
