How to setup minicom for cisco devices in Rhel&Centos Linux
some instructions to use minicom
run "minicom -s" command to setup session
by pressing letters you will be enter in configure mode
After run this command, follow these steps:
1 Press A and change the serial device to the one you say in the previous step “For example: /dev/tty0" and remember use caps letters after tty.
2 Press F to change the flow control to “No”
3 Finally and most importantly, Press E to change your baud rate to “9600”
4 Now Press Esc to go back to main menu, and then save your configuration as dfl or
you can save as and choose a name. For example cisco, now every time you can use the same configuration
just type sudo minicom cisco. and enjoy!!
