Patch 1.3 - Adds Dynamic Resolution - Pure Mode
Resolutions and FPS ( Docked ):
Pure: 693 ~ 1278 Native - 1440 Output - 60 FPS
Performance: 540 Native - 1080 Output ( 540 x 2 ) - 60 FPS
Balanced: 480 Native - 960 Output ( 480 x 2 ) - 60 FPS
Quality: 630 Native - 1260 Output ( 630 x 2 ) - 60 FPS
Ultra Quality: 720 Native - 1440 Output ( 720 x 2 ) - 30 FPS
The performance, balanced, quality and ultra quality modes had no changes in resolution in patch 1.3.
Level 1 was tested in Pure mode, which appears to be lighter, and Level 3, which appears to be very heavy due to the many trees.
Information:
Last week I performed a resolution and FPS analysis on Fast Fusion. The discrete cosine transform is quite effective in finding resolutions, but I still haven't managed to master its mysteries 100%, even after two years of observing hundreds of samples. In the table we can see the native and output resolutions reported in the video.
That said, I would like to make a correction to the output resolutions for the balanced, quality and ultra quality modes. The output resolution can sometimes be difficult to find and can lead to errors. However, I am improving ways to make it more accurate.
Therefore, I would like to show the correct values according to the new table. In this video, I will put the analysis again with the correct values. I apologize for the mistake. This week, the new patch 1.3 came out with a new mode called Pure. It offers dynamic resolution. I was almost giving up on getting good data in this mode, however, I managed to come up with a new methodology to deal with these more problematic cases, this will help me analyze more games.
