We need to talk about your dream home Pinterest board. The board from 2016 that is just endless photos of old wood floors, gigantic windows, built in shelving, arches, tiled bathrooms, moody lighting, stained glass, and homes that somehow look both empty and perfect at the same time.
And meanwhile your actual apartment has one overhead light and landlord white walls.
In this video, I lament the fact that a lot of what we are actually drawn to in these homes is the architecture itself, not necessarily the decor, BUT, after staring at my own dream home board for way too long, I realized there are little ways to recreate the feeling of these spaces without renovating or moving. This video is basically for anyone who wants their home to feel magical but also realistic and lived in and attainable.
