I grew up in Portugal...
Portugal has a huge beach tradition. ⛱️ People spend their lives going to the beach with friends and family, enjoying the beautiful coastal landscapes and the refreshing feeling of jumping in the ocean when temperatures are high. But for the longest time, I never felt compelled to snorkel or dive in Portugal. For some reason I had it in my mind that there was nothing to see there. But I was wrong! Maybe we don't have manta rays and whale sharks swimming around, but we do have other awesome wildlife, worth valuing and admiring. I really grew to value and love portuguese marine wildlife 🌊❤️ And there are corals and kelp off the portuguese coast!
There is life to be found everwhere.
