The budget for building this system unit was limited, and there was a problem with the cheapest case from the start. The 2660v3 kit, which was originally supposed to fit in this case, didn't fit the mounting holes. It was an Epic Fail 😭. We decided to get a more powerful 2680v4 kit and install it in the case. Everything fit perfectly, and what do we have in the end?
The processor temperatures are very reasonable, although I expected them to be much higher in this case with a 14-core 2680v4 and practically a budget motherboard. What do we have? Temperatures don't rise above 60°C under 100% CPU load, but there's one caveat: the VRM suffers significantly in these tests; the temperatures there are quite high, and it's advisable to replace this case with a good airflow system in the future.
Next, the video card! How's it going? Things aren't exactly great there either, because, again, the case is one of the cheapest in the M-ATX form factor. The space for the video card is located right at the bottom of the case, with no airflow at all, so the video card can't draw in cool air from outside. During tests, the temperature hovered around 72-74°C. Before this, this card was tested in my well-ventilated case and reached 66-68°C. So, I'll definitely need a case replacement soon, which I always advise everyone to do, but my budget was limited.
