How do you censor a video?
1️⃣ Upload
Upload the video that you’re looking to censor to your Flixier library. You can choose a video from your computer, bring one over from cloud storage services like Google Photos or Dropbox, paste in a YouTube link or import your Twitch clips, Highlights and VODs.
2️⃣ Censor
Double click on your video to add it to the Timeline. Then, go to the Shapes tab on the left side of the screen and click on the Add Square Mask button. Select the mask on the timeline and blur or pixelate the area by clicking on the appropriate option on the right side of the screen. You can reposition the mask by moving it around with the mouse button and resize it using the controls on its edge. To change when it comes up on screen and how long it lasts, drag on its edges in the timeline.
If you want to censor your video with a black bar, just click on the square icon in the shapes tab, give it a black Fill Color using the right hand menu and use your mouse to resize and reposition it.
3️⃣ Export
Once you’ve finished censoring your video, click on the Export button in the top right corner, then click again on Export and Download. Flixier will take a couple of minutes to process your video and then the censored clip will be downloaded to your computer.
