90W PoE++ Injector vs PoE++ bt Switch
The IEEE802.3bt is the next generation PoE solution that can supply 90W power output over cat5e or cat6 cable. In this video, you will see typical devices with 90W PoE++ technology - PoE++ injector and PoE++ switch. We will talk about what is the difference between those two and how to connect the devices to supply 90W high power. The PoE++ employs all 4 twisted pairs to send the power, which is the primary reason why it can increase the power budget from 30W (PoE+) to 90W. The new 4 ports PoE++ switch comes with 2 high power ports and 2 standard POE+ ports. The total power budget is 180W.
