7 -Penguins migrate thousands of kilometers north every year, to warmer places.
Five years ago, Joao Pereira de Souza, a retired construction worker, came across a penguin that was unable to move because it was covered in oil tar near his home in Brazil. Joao took the penguin home, cleaned it, fed it shrimp during its treatment, and named it Jingjing. After Jingjing regained her strength and health, Joao released her back into the sea, her natural habitat. The mission was complete. Every year in Patagonia, a Magellanic penguin takes a short break on its migration route to visit the Brazilian man who saved its life by cleaning up the oil it was covered in, and stays with its human friend for a while before continuing on its way.
