Best Voice, instrument levelling plugin: Era Voice Leveler
After trying out several plugins, including the world famous W, I gave up on levelling plugins, as they were complicated, and generally not very good. I stuck to compression, which is technically great, but has it's limitations. So when I got en email with this plugin, I got the demo real quick, and minutes later I bought it. It is a one knob plugin, with the ability to hone in even more, should you so wish.
It works!
It hasn't replaced the compressor, because that also has its role, but it now has less heavy lifting to do, and so, sounds much more natural.
