At the supermarket, a man helped Becca reach an item on the shelf. Before she could thank him, his son ran up to her asking for a snack. Becca smiled sadly and explained that they couldn't spend extra money.
The man, a wealthy fellow, took advantage of the moment to slip her wallet into it and hide some cash. But when she tried to return it without him noticing, Becca suddenly turned around and, thinking he was stealing from her, hit him with a milk bottle.
At the checkout, seeing that she now had hundreds of dollars in her wallet, she felt guilty. She went back to the man, took him to the hospital, and ended up caring for him while he recovered from the blow.
