Hunter found his favorite sport
Hunter is no stranger to surgery. He's had 29 surgeries due to his spina bifida, the first within 24 hours of his birth. When he was just three years old, he was treated with immediate surgery to remedy a tethered spinal cord. Hunter's journey has included not only surgeries but many hours of physical and occupational therapy. He had to re-learn to walk more than once but never complains. Hunter tackles these procedures, therapy treatments and the regular testing he undergoes like a hero. Thanks to donations, our member hospitals can care for kids like Hunter.
