Today is Christmas, so to celebrate the occasion, I'm doing a side-by-side comparison review of two beers from the Hoppin' Frog Brewery (@hoppinfrogbrewery9558), and it's their Frosted Frog Christmas Ale and Barrel Aged Frosted Frog Christmas Ale, both of which are the 2024 release. The former is a Winter Warmer that is brewed with cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg, while the latter is the same beer, but aged in whiskey barrels. It's also the eighth holiday beer review for December of 2024. I've had the barrel-aged version before, but not the base, so I'm curious to see which one I prefer. Let's find out!
