❌ Bachelor's degree applicants (don't need dMAT)
❌ PhD applicants (don't need dMAT)
❌ Exchange/Double-degree/Partnership programs
❌ Bachelor's not in affected fields
❌ Applied for Winter 2026/27 intake
❌ Registered APS before 29 June 2026

💰 EXAM FEE:
dMAT fee: €150 (approximately ₹16,000)
Paid separately online to g.a.s.t.

APS fee: Still ₹18,000 INR (separate)
Total additional cost: ~₹34,000
Not refundable!
Register only if eligible!

📊 SCORING SYSTEM:
Two important scores on certificate:

Percentile Rank
Shows performance compared to all test-takers
Example: 70 percentile = Better than 70% of test-takers
Range: 0-100

dMAT Score

Total points scored
Range: 0-200 (100 = average)
Two separate scores (Core + General Academic)
Added together for total

🎯 THE BIG QUESTION: Will low score reject me?

Answer: NO ❌

Low dMAT score does NOT automatically reject APS!

What happens:

✅ Your dMAT certificate is required
✅ Score goes on your APS certificate
✅ Each university decides weight of score
✅ Low score = Not a rejection factor
✅ Good score = Competitive advantage

💡 Score matters to universities, NOT to APS approval!

🔄 THE COMPLETE PROCESS:

Step 1: Register for dMAT (before 15 Sept)
Step 2: Take dMAT exam (26 Sept)
Step 3: Receive dMAT certificate (12 Oct)
Step 4: Submit dMAT + documents to APS
Step 5: APS verifies documents + includes dMAT score
Step 6: Receive APS certificate
Step 7: Apply for German student visa
Step 8: Visa approval with APS certificate
Important: dMAT is ADDITION to APS, not replacement!

After exam:
Download certificate from portal
