Raspberry Pi have just announced that they just killed the default Pi user account - 7 April 2022 Raspberry Pi Bullseye Update.
This update also brings updates to the setup wizard, raspberry pi imager, bluetooth keyboard on boot as well as an experimental Wayland desktop manager.
