Since March 12, 2022, the Holy Dormition Nikolay-Vasilievsky Monastery in Donbas has been on the front line, under constant shelling.
Many buildings have been destroyed, and some of the monks, the almshouse, and all refugees have been evacuated.
The remaining brothers and sisters, trusting in God's mercy, the intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, and the prayers of the monastery's founder, Schema-Archimandite Zosima, continue their ministry within the walls of their long-suffering monastery.
