Format Phone Numbers in Excel

Phone number formats are often inconsistent and hard to fix manually. In this video, you’ll learn an easy, no-code way to format phone numbers in Excel. No complex formulas or VBA required.

We’ll walk through multiple examples and standardize them into a clean, uniform format. You’ll learn how to handle country codes with and without the plus sign, mixed symbols and format the numbers.

We will work through two examples. The first one is to format the Indian mobile phone numbers and the second one is formatting the US phone numbers.
