If you are new to Inkscape, it can be intimidating to learn all the features. In this video, I walk through Inkscape settings for the main palette such as background color, page color and themes (including a great-looking high-contrast dark theme).
Inkscape is a free vector tool (similar to Adobe Illustrator). It's great for graphic design and creating vectors (this is a free resource you can use if you are creating vector files or digital files to sell on Etsy or other digital platforms).
