2 HUGE reasons NOT to buy the Atomos Shinobi
Alright so here are the TWO HUGE reasons why I did not buy the Atomos Shinobi :
1) It does NOT have any DC out. So that means that you cannot power your camera or any other accessories via the monitor.
A camera like the Blackmagic pocket 4k has terrible battery life and with a big Sony NP-F970 battery you can get up to 1h30mn or more using this setup.
2) The 2nd problem is that it does not have an HDMI out so if you want to send the signal to the an other monitor for a client or have an assistant to do the focus pulling for you.
So eventually you will have to get a new monitor.
