STEP BY STEP GUIDE
I’m logged into Microsoft and I’m in my Outlook inbox on the web.
It’s very quick and easy to forward an email in Outlook.
Let’s start by clicking on the email we want to forward on. The content of that email will then be shown in the display panel in your Outlook inbox.
I’m going to move my mouse to that email and you’ll see that in the top review of the email preview window there are a number of icons shown. The one we are interested in however is the arrow pointing to the right.
If I hover over that, you’ll see that this is the option to forward an email - this allows you to send on an email you have received to someone else.
Lets click on that button now.
A new email window is then shown, and you’ll see that the mouse cursor has now moved to the To row in the email and is prompting you to enter an email address to send the email to. This is the email address to which you want to forward the email
I’ll quickly enter an email address I want to send it to.
If I click into the body of the email, you’ll see that the original content of the email is still shown. And of course I can add my own words to that.
Once you are happy with your email, you can send it off just by clicking on the large blue send button at the bottom of the page.
