Juniper Networks SRX Firewall Lab Web (URL) Filtering (J-Web for vSRX)
Configure UTM web filtering features. You can also configure the default UTM configuration for web filtering feature profile. If you do not configure any option in the web filtering feature profile, the values configured in the default UTM configuration are applied.
The default UTM Web filtering configuration for HTTP is also applicable for the HTTPS sessions. Web filtering feature’s potential policies conflict check is independent of the content filtering, antivirus, and antispam features.
Local Web Filtering Profiles
You configure Web filtering profiles that permit or block URLs according to defined custom categories. A Web filtering profile consists of a group of URL categories assigned one of the following actions:
Blocklist — The device always blocks access to the websites in this list. Only user-defined categories are used with local Web filtering.
Allowlist — The device always allows access to the websites in this list. Only user-defined categories are used with local Web filtering.
Don't need license if you plan use the SRX Local engine . You need to add your own URL pattern lists and URL categories.
