Cyberpunk 2077 next-gen upgrade revealed
CD Projekt RED have announced the much-anticipated next-gen upgrade for Cyberpunk 2077, and have also announced a free trial for all those thinking about upgrading.
Patch 1.5 brings various improvements, new quests and some gameplay fixes, with extra free DLC to boot.
Most notably however, it includes the next-gen update, which utilises the extra power available on next-gen to bring Cyberpunk 2077 to the next level.
Xbox Series X and PS5 will benefit from ray-traced local shadows, whilst all 3 next-gen consoles will benefit from visual quality improvement, spatial headphone audio, and improved crowd reactions.
The PS5 alone will get dualsense controller features.
New apartments have been added, as well as allowing for further tweaking of appearance, like your hair, makeup and piercings.
The 1.5 patch should breathe some new life into Cyberpunk, which was originally met with some disappointing reviews.
