Stuck on "Awaiting Endpoint" when trying to connect to a voice channel? This usually means Discord is struggling to establish a connection. Here's how to fix it.

Step 1: Restart Discord Completely

Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc). Find and end all Discord.exe processes by right-clicking and selecting "End task." Relaunch Discord.

Step 2: Check Internet and VPN

Ensure you have a stable internet connection. Disable any VPNs or proxies, as they can interfere with Discord's voice servers.

Step 3: Clear Discord Cache

Press Windows + R, type "%appdata%" and press Enter. Open the Discord folder. Delete the following folders: Cache, Code Cache, and GPUCache. Restart Discord.

Step 4: Change Voice Server Region

In Discord, go to User Settings - Voice & Video. Under "Voice Server Region," change it from "Automatic" to a specific region close to you. Apply the change.

Step 5: Check Discord Status

Visit https://discordstatus.com/ to see if there are ongoing outages affecting voice connections.

Step 6: Reinstall Discord

If the issue persists, uninstall Discord via Add or Remove Programs. Download the latest version from discord.com and reinstall.

After these steps, the Awaiting Endpoint error should be resolved.
