Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original animated film In Your Dreams. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Academy Award nominee John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, Iron Man 2, The Jungle Book, Elf, Hocus Pocus, Liar Liar, Horizon: An American Saga, The Emperor’s New Groove). Also included are the songs from the film, including the original tracks The Holding On and the Letting Go written by Daniel Blake and performed by voice cast members Simu Liu & Cristin Milioti and Sleep2Dream written by Gigi Shabestari & Ryan Raines and performed by ggwendolyn, as well as covers of Don’t Cha & Mister Sandman produced by Alana Da Fonseca.
In Your Dreams is directed by Alex Woo, co-directed by Erik Benson and also features the voices of Jolie Hoang-Rappaport, Elias Janssen, Craig Robinson, Omid Djalili, Gia Carides, SungWon Cho and Zachary Noah Piser. The Netflix Animation production tells the story of a sister and brother who journey into the wildly absurd landscape of their own dreams to ask the wish-granting Sandman for the perfect family. The film was released in select theaters last Friday and will debut tomorrow on Netflix.
