Dachnoe - Gnilyakovo. Disappearing history. Part 1.
The village of Gnilyakovo, which is now part of Dachnoye, is one of the oldest villages in the Odessa region. It was founded no later than 1740 by the Cossack Semyon Gnilyachenko, who settled here in those distant years with several of his brothers. The village has preserved an ancient cemetery, which is now being destroyed by villagers with modern burials. I, together with Dmitry Zhdanov and Lyubov Trautman, visited this cemetery, the grave of the Cossack Gnilyachenko, and also visited an interesting abandoned house with a cellar, a summer kitchen, a garage and even an abandoned old car.
