This video is all about a phrase. At first ,we will learn what is called a phrase and then the types of phrases in English grammar. There are five main types of phrases in English grammar. They are- Noun Phrase, verb phrase, adjective phrase, adverb phrase, and prepositional phrase. We will learn all these types of phrases with examples.
PHRASE is a group of words. It has no subject verb combination.
It doesn't have any meaning if used alone, but if used in a sentence, it has a unique meaning.
There are five different kinds of phrases.
1. noun phrase
2. verb phrase
3. adjective phrase
4. adverb phrase
5. prepositional phrase
