The fight between two amateurs, particularly if they are both debuting, is really a competition to see who listens to their coach. It is unlikely they will be making lots of adjustments on their own, the stress and nerves are just too high.
This was Nate's very first striking match of any kind after training for six months. He competed at the IKF/PKB hosted by AK Promotions, which is a semi-contact kickboxing tournament format to give people exposure to competition with a lower risk of injury.
