I evaluate Amazon's new AI-powered code editor, Kiro, which is currently in preview. My assessment focuses on its capabilities for structured project development, moving beyond simple LLM prompting. I demonstrate Kiro's features by attempting to build a landing page for an existing school community dashboard project. While highlighting its modular approach with requirements, design, and tasks markdown files for better context management, I also address the frequent "unexpected error" messages encountered due to its preview status.
