CISCO 802.1Q KING | Build And Secure Switchport Trunks
Had some folks request a breakdown of 802.1Q trunking configurations and how to secure it against VLAN hopping and VLAN spoofing. So, we're going to do a 101 breakdown of what trunks are and how to configure them in a secure manner.
Basic configurations used in the video:
Trunk Ports
switch(config-if)# switchport mode trunk
switch(config-if)# switchport trunk native vlan 900
switch(config-if)# switchport trunk allow vlan 2-4
Unused access ports
switch(config-if)# switchport mode access
switch(config-if)# switchport access vlan 100
switch(config-if)# shutdown
