How many exoplanets are there in universe till now discoverd .
What are the ways of discovering these exoplanets.

I am Balram Jha
Exoplanets or extra solar planet which is outside the solar system means the planet which usually revolve around others satrs or red dwarf star basically other than sun.
In our solar system all the planet orbits around sun .
There are some examples of exoplanets
Keplar-78b,keplar-62f,keplar-186f etc
Till now there are 4,687 exoplanets are noticed in this universe in which 46 are confirmed.
The aim of discovering exoplanets are
1)to know that nature of exoplanet
2) about their atmosphere
3) Rockey planet or others
There are two methods used for discovering
Exoplanets
1)transit photometry
2)dopler spectroscopy
These methods are actually favouring the
Discovering exoplanets about 85% near tidal locking zone.
Nearest exoplanet proxima century which is about 4.2ly
There is exoplanet named as super Earth
Named k2-18b
Having vapour found in their atmosphere
Which is about 8 times larger than earth
Which is situated at 112ly discovered by keplar space telescope 🔭
