Create Slide To Shut Down Shortcut On Desktop | Windows 10/11
In this video, I will show you how to create a shortcut for "Slide to Shut down" on your Windows Computer
Step 1: Right-click on your Desktop and Click New on the context menu, and select Shortcut in the sub-list.
Step 2: In the Create Shortcut window, type "C:\Windows\System32\SlideToShutDown.exe" OR "%windir%\System32\SlideToShutDown.exe" and then tap Next.
Step 3: Choose Finish to create this shortcut.
Step 4: Next Click Finish, or you can name the shortcut anything you want first. "SlideToShutDown"
You're all set, but you can also change the default icon.
Right-click on the new shortcut and click on Properties.
Click on Change icon. You will be alerted that there is no icon. Click OK.
Choose, or browse to an icon and click OK.

Open Run. (ShortKey - Windows Key + R) and Type slidetoshutdown and Enter

How to Use Slide to Shut down your PC:
1) Slide the slide to shut down screen to the bottom of the touch screen to shut down your PC.
2) Click and hold with mouse or touchpad and drag the slide to shut down screen to the bottom of the display and release to shut down your PC.
3) Press Enter while on the slide to shut down screen to shut down your PC.
4) Click/tap on the slide to shut down screen to cancel
