Green Glass Green solving Hong Kong’s glass recycling problem one bottle at a time
Environmental campaigner April Lai has been getting her hands dirty on recycling rounds with Green Glass Green for six years.
Green Glass Green has been leading glass recycling efforts as Hong Kong struggles to manage capacity for its landfills.
The recycling projectwas createdby the Hong Kong Dumper Truck Drivers Association and the Environment and Conservation Fund (ECF),providingweekly volunteer glass collection sessions across the city including Wan Chai, Central,Stanley, Shek O and Prince Edward.
