2021 Build Guide - Apple Carplay & Android Auto for Saab 9-3 ICM3 Radio Modification Open Auto Pro
I've left this video online for informational purposes. The kit is longer available because the software has been discontinued by Bluewave Studios and half the components can no longer be sourced, however, those of you who want to build something similar can do using the open-source software from Crankshaft.

In a nutshell, it adds a touch screen with the latest navigation and all associated features, direct access to Spotify / Deezer / Youtube Music or whatever compatible music app you use, and Bluetooth hands-free calling. This is thanks to Bluwave's awesome software, Open Auto Pro.
*Your phone must be compatible with wireless Android Auto or Apple Carplay. That's an iPhone 7 or newer, or *most Android phones running Android 11.0 or newer
