Here is what you'll need!

CAMPFIRE SKEWERS 4 WAYS

STEAK FAJITA SKEWERS

INGREDIENTS

2 lbs sirloin steak
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
Red pepper
Green pepper
Onion

INSTRUCTIONS
Chop meat and veggies into bite-sized pieces.
Mix all ingredients except vegetables together in a bowl.
Freeze meat and veggies, then put it in your cooler when you leave for your camping trip.
Once thawed, make skewers by adding steak, green pepper, red pepper, and onions; repeat them in that order until the skewer is full.
Cook over a campfire for 10 minutes, flipping halfway.


ROASTED VEGGIE

INGREDIENTS

¼ cup Olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp oregano
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
Zucchini
Mushrooms
Red onions
Red peppers
Yellow peppers

INSTRUCTIONS
At home, chop veggies into bite-sized pieces.
In a mason jar, combine olive oil and spices.
Make skewers by adding zucchini, mushrooms, red onions, red peppers, and yellow peppers; repeat them in that order until the skewer is full.
Brush dressing over each skewer.
Cook over a campfire for 10 minutes, flipping halfway.


TERIYAKI CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS

1 lb chicken thighs
1 cup soy sauce
¾ cup brown sugar
1 tbsp sesame seeds
½ cup green onion
Pineapple

INSTRUCTIONS
Chop meat and pineapple into bite-sized pieces.
Mix all ingredients except pineapple together in a bowl.
Freeze meat and pineapple, then put it in your cooler when you leave for your camping trip.
Once thawed, make skewers by adding chicken and pineapple; repeat them in alternating order until the skewer is full.
Cook over a campfire for 10 minutes, flipping halfway.


BBQ CHICKEN BACON

INGREDIENTS

1 lb chicken thighs
1 cup barbecue sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
Bacon

INSTRUCTIONS
Chop meat into bite-sized pieces.
Mix all ingredients except bacon together in a bowl.
Freeze meat, then put it in your cooler when you leave for your camping trip.
Once thawed, make skewers by adding bacon and chicken; repeat them in that order, snaking the bacon around the chicken with each addition, until the skewer is full.
Cook over a campfire for 10 minutes, flipping halfway.
