Cole Holloway isn’t supposed to be in the mall—especially not after hours. But when the security guards start hunting him like prey, Cole slips into the only place they can’t easily follow: the vents and crawlspaces hidden behind the walls. Down there, he finds something even better than freedom… a forgotten basement room that could become his secret home—no rules, no bunkmates, just his space.
The problem? Head Guard Veronica Hale knows exactly who he is… and she’s got cameras everywhere. Now Cole has to steal supplies, dodge patrols, and outsmart a surveillance network before the mall opens and the crowd turns into his only cover.
